WHO: Instructors: Scott & Kena Sohler, owners of BeeBlesst, LLC

We are hoping our son Brandon will have time to be here too but his schedule is too variable to know until that weekend.

​

​​WHAT: Topics will include honey bee biology and science, equipment, hive management throughout the year, pests/diseases/treatments, pollination,

preferred habitats and nutrition sources, honey extraction/bee products,

tips & hints to get started. We want everyone to have a chance to

become a wise backyard beekeeper.

We started out as hobby beekeepers 14 years ago and when our son,

Brandon wanted to start a honey bee business, we jumped at the chance.

We now pollinate crops and sell honey bee nucs, queens, honey,

skincare products and candles/wax.

We have learned much about honey bee management over the years and would love to share. Whether you have already started, are just beginning or are only thinking about it, this class will give you some good information that will help you move ahead to becoming a wise and successful keeper of the bees. 

Did you know the honey bee just got put on the endangered species list? 

We hope to pass on what we have learned so we can keep these

essential friends in all our backyards!

We have Individual and Couple/Family pricing. For the Family, we request if you bring children, that they are interested in beekeeping and/or are able to sit quietly to not disrupt the class. Thank you for your understanding. We have found that many children love to learn about the bees!
