NUC HIVES
Each Nuc will will have a 2025 mated laying queen with 2 to 3 frames of brood, a food frame and a frame in progress. All the brood will be from your queen and ready to go straight into a full size hive!
Carniolan or Italian queens are available on a first come, first served basis. Both do very well for us. The bees will be treated multiple times before you receive them. We've already checked on our bees and they are super strong and healthy!
Traits we encourage are honey production, winter hardiness, good hygiene and gentleness.
We will make them up early April and verify the queen is doing well and the nuc is thriving before passing on to you. Pick up depends on certain variables, but the time is tentatively planned for early May. Giving everyone good quality nucs is very important to us.

WE WILL GIVE THIS AS A DEFINITE DATE WHEN THE QUEENS ARRIVE. THEY ARE DUE HERE ON APRIL 11TH!
You can put your queen preference in the NOTES section on the CART page, when ordering if you'd like and we will do our best to accommodate your request. The earlier you order, the easier it will be for us to make sure you get what you are looking for. Be assured both kinds do well in our areas and we have both these bees for our commercial operation, having great success with them.
We plan on having them ready EARLY MAY 2025. Availability depends on many factors so we will not be able to give an exact pick-up date yet. We will let you know as we know, an exact date and time.
We DO NOT guarantee that every NUC will survive long-term or become a high producer.
We DO NOT ship our Nucs through the mail so pick up at our BENTON CITY, WA (off Badger Road) or BATTLE GROUND, WA (Joyful Honey and Beekeeping Supplies) locations will be necessary.
