USE: Gently rub butter on clean skin, avoiding eye area. Some use a larger amount at night for a deep treatment with cotton gloves or socks to help it stay on longer and to avoid getting on bedding. Also works great after showering, when your skin is damp.
CAUTION: There are those who may have an allergy or intolerance to certain plants. Calendula may cause a rare allergic reaction in people who are sensitive to the Asteraceae/Compositae family (Ragweed). It is a good idea to test a small amount of any new skin product on your inner arm to make sure it agrees with you before you use. Some feel pregnant women should use caution with herbal products containing Calendula. Our products contain infused oils which use a very small amount of plant material infused in olive oil. BeeYond Vanilla Hand & Body Butter 4 oz & 9 oz
I originally made this butter for myself as I could not use any lotions or butters on the market. My skin is very sensitive and gets extremely dry year round. Chapped in winter and dry from water and gardening in summer, I really was suffering. I am unable to tolerate essential oils, most preservatives and unnatural chemicals that other products have. Over the years, my skin has been transformed by this product. I use it regularly to maintain my skin integrity and I can feel it healing overnight when I am having particular issues. I have refined and tested it for over 10 years and can attest that it really works!
This rich, thick butter combined with nourishing and moisturizing oils is full of vitamins, antioxidants and can help our skin to look and feel great.
The herbs used have been found to be extra skin soothing, nourishing and meant to boost the look and feel of your skin, including areas of irritation. Made in gentle concentrations, this butter will be all you need to keep your skin at it's best.
